Homemade Granola

Crunchy, nutty, and sweet homemade granola.

Equipment

  • 1 large baking pan
  • parchment paper
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • wire rack

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds or pepitas
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup raisins add after baking and cooling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉, gather ingredients, mixing bowl, and line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix all ingredients except for the raisins in a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour and press the mixture onto a large baking sheet. Spread out evenly and press down with the back of a spoon.

  • Bake for 22-25 minutes. Halfway through, toss granola and re-press down into the pan. Rotate the pan to ensure even baking.
  • Let cool for 45 minutes or until room temperature. Add raisins and toss to combine.
    Toasted granola cooling on counter.

Notes

Store granola in a cool dry place for 2 to 3 weeks.
